WIP
Work In Progress
If you've ever had the privilege of working in a production or professional environment, then you know that Work in Progress is a term sometimes used to describe goods or services that are in the process of completion.
WIP essentially means not done yet.
For many creatives, especially myself, one can be stuck in the land of WIP without ever having a plan for leaving. The situations are endless: family, work, health, finances, etc.
Whatever the reason, WIP should be a temporary place of residence, until the next project materializes. For me, my projects overlap to the point where my free project management software has reached its limits.
There is a healthy balance of embracing the mentality of enjoying the process and it's the journey, not the destination. However, these mantras can actually empower excuses and the necessary drive to see a project to its completion.
For all those creatives out there who have unfinished projects, pencils-with-no-inks, a half-written script, or 99 moments of inspiration and 1 moment of perspiration, I feel you. I get it.
Message me and let's talk shop.
THE LAST RALLY
A story about cars and creatures
A story about cars and creatures
Fast cars and fierce creatures.
I love the idea of this comic I started back in 2020. It was actually going to be the œuvre d'art finale, the final project for my Master's program, however, life took me in several different directions and most of the work never looked like it did in my mind.
Nor did I complete it.
Nevertheless, the project lives on! I've reworked the plot, the characters, the creatures, the themes, the sponsors' logos on the car, the color palette... essentially everything but the title.
The story is a fun one, revolving around a group of kids and their dog who solve mysteries. Just kidding. Although there are indeed mysteries to solve, a close-knit group of intrepid youngsters, and a cadre of monsters, there shouldn't be too many allusions to Scooby and Co.
